Fostering Ecological Hope
Today from Margaret Swedish:
I guess I just have water on my mind these past days. There is its scarcity that threatens us — fresh, clean water that we need for just about everything. And then there is the rising water that also threatens us — global warming causing oceans to expand and glaciers to melt, which is further elevating ocean levels. Coastal areas around the Earth will be increasingly threatened.
Ran into this article today posted on Truthout.org several days ago. The disappearance of coastal communities was once considered a bad future scenario, but in some places it has already arrived.
Does this matter to us yet, the fate of these people?
