Fostering Ecological Hope
Today from Margaret Swedish:
Friends and visitors:
I will be taking a little break from the blog — to attend a couple of conferences, breathe some smoky air in California, and take time to reflect, assess, ponder this project and that other Project — the Great Work of creating a new human presence on the planet.
Just this thought. We face a difficult future. The planet is reeling not only from the way we humans have lived on it, but also because the Earth itself is changing — as it always does. Much upheaval lies ahead and we will need to learn how to live through upheaval — with generority of spirit, boundless compassion, eagerness to be part of the New Creation happening in, through, and all around us.
We focus on spirituality here because that is what’s going to get us through this. We mean that term in the large sense — a framework of meaning, a story that embraces the truth of the world and inspires us to embrace that truth with courage and humility, a set of values and motivations for getting out of bed in the morning, qualities of the human spirit and how we treat one another and our fellow creatures.
Some look at the challenges ahead and prepare for more war, more economic domination and control, digging in behind the trenches, building forts with strong walls and moats and guns facing out towards the world.
We must, must reject this path.
Others embrace the journey with humility, commitment to truth, love for this planet and all of us on it, with determination and even joy.
After the 22nd, we will not only be blogging again, but also launching the new website. If you can contribute to that project, we would be most grateful. Your donations are tax deductible and can be sent to:

Thanks for your care for the Earth, for being part of the journey.

Yes Dear Margaret, it is time to reflect with retrospective views how to improve the ecology and environment. Always short nreaks give us breakthroughs to discover better ways of putting, the views with a focused perspective of reflection. It the work thats what we do should make us enjoy and make us more innovative in giving our views. You have put a nice picture, Hirizon is the limit for any thinking. Here lets work for such environment, where there are no limits and limitations, and no distractions, only PEACE, HARMONY and SERENITY.
