Al Gore is, of course, facing pretty stiff, and fairly enraged opposition from the economic interests threatened by his campaign to stop global warming and save the planet from a very hot future.  Here is an example from Alberta, Canada, whose premier, Ralph Klein, took umbrage with Gore’s slam at the ecologically destructive (to put it mildly) oil shale industry.
