Today from Margaret Swedish:
Dear Blog Readers,
I will be on the road over these next several weeks, part of that time doing a writing retreat in the Kentucky woods. This will give me more time to ponder things like global warming, climate change, the new reality that is descending upon this society with peak oil, an economy based on consumtion of diminishing resources, and the culture of denial whose political and other leaders have their heads in the sand.
It will also give me time to enjoy the spring, hear the birds, watch the blossoms explode in color — all these ways that nature has of telling us — I can heal, I can give you hope, if you would just stop long enough to love me again, to cherish and honor me, to live in balance with all that made you possible.
And I will have time to write of these things.
I will not have wireless access very often, so my musings will come more sporadically. Please bear with me. I do hope to share some thoughts and reflections along the way on this blog.
Please — get involved! This earth needs you. We all need each other to get humanity through the hard transtion that is coming, and to do that with respect, with integrity, selflessness, healing spirits, gentleness, love, and compassion.
