We need to find our collective moral compass – and fast – if we are going to make good decisions, the kind that ensure a living planet for future generations.

Ecologically, the news is not so good. We are reaching many tipping points and some dramatic changes are now irreversible. However, in terms of the human response to ecological crisis, well, things are really looking up. As the world warms and the threats mount, grassroots groups are rising up to defend the places where they live.
