Some weeks we find news that adds urgency to the work we do. Some weeks are harder than others in that regard. When that happens, we try to keep things in balance; we go out and look for more stories of New Creation. So here’s the balance, and our thoughts on where this project is headed.

Climate change is not the problem, but a symptom of the problem. The essence of the ecological crisis is the way in which we are in relationship with Nature, and that is what we need to change fundamentally. Evolution occurs from within and that is now being manifested in local communities working to defend their places, creating new ecological cultures in the process. We need a major cultural shift, an awakening. All the indicators are telling us that. I think we all have to share what we’re thinking, feeling, creating, to learn from each other not just how we see the scary realities, but also how we see the paths through them to the New Creation for which so many of us are longing now.
