Fast and furious…

The vast network of energy extraction and transshipment lines is being developed now at a fast and furious pace. There is intent here: to build it faster than people are able to become aware of what is being done to their communities, faster than they can organize. The fact that this is happening is proof of the effectiveness of the opposition. And that should encourage us to engage even more in the struggle to save the eco-communities in the places where we live.

There is no way around it. It is very bad news. But, despite that news, there is still so much that we can do – learning new ways of life, and ramping up our work to save the environment in which we live and move and have our being. These will be the essential ingredients of what it means to be human for the next generations.
