We are caught between two increasingly extreme tensions – the deepening consciousness of the interconnectedness of the whole of the web of life and the awareness that we are shredding it perhaps beyond its ability to hold us any longer. We have to resolve this tension by moving toward one and away from the other. We cannot put off this decision any longer.

So now what? That is the great adventure, that question. How we form community around it is then one of our great challenges.
